Two recycling points in Cambridge have recently been closed, at Cowley Road Park & Ride site and the car park of The Ship public house in King's Hedges.
Since the Park & Ride relocated to Milton, the Cowley Road site can no longer be accessed to use the recycling banks.
The recycling point in the car park of The Ship was scheduled to be refurbished last month, but has now been closed due to failed negotiations with the landowner.
Recycling Officer Rebecca Weymouth said, "We are currently looking for suitable nearby sites to relocate the recycling points to.
"In the meantime we would like to ask residents to use other recycling points at Campkin Road shops and Daily Bread on Kilmaine Close, as well as their kerbside recycling boxes".
The recycling point on Chesterton Road, which was closed for refurbishment earlier in the year, is due to re-open this month.
