Skate park
Please vote and comment on the four proposed designs for the Jesus Green skate park.
This popular skate park is being redeveloped because the 2002 installation is starting to show its age through wear and tear and in terms of design and attractiveness.
The main points of the brief were:
- the slippery surface
- the pre-cast quarter pipe joints that require repeat grouting and a closing-off of the park to skate users during the operation
- the in-fill of the undersides of the quarter-pipes
- replace the fun-box element (pyramid), which has subsided
- improve the experience of the park
- blend in with the surroundings by landscaping and appropriate use of materials
We are also looking to install a small number of bins and bike racks, which have been requested.
For any more information please email the parks team at parks@cambridge.gov.uk.

We asked you to help us with this by completing our two short questionnaires.
