Tea dances

Dance the afternoon away with good friends and wonderful music from Leigh Murfit and Bob Watts.

Tea is served at 2.30pm and there is a chance to win great prizes at the raffle.

Tea dances take place from 1-4pm on Wednesday afternoons in the Guildhall. Tickets cost £2.50 on the door.

Kew Gardens spring colour tour

Tuesday 16 March

Join us for an expert guided tour of the beautiful gardens at Kew Gardens. Over five million flowering bulbs will melt away the winter and carpet the beautiful open spaces of Kew with a riot of colour.

Tickets are £15 from the Corn Exchange Box Office. Meet the coach at 9am on Peas Hill. The coach leaves Kew Gardens at 4pm.

Cream tea cruises

Wednesdays 28 April and 16 June

Enjoy a cream tea aboard the Riverboat Georgina while cruising along the river Cam.

Tickets cost £12 from the Corn Exchange Box Office; early booking is advised. Meet at Jesus Green Lock at 12.45pm to leave at 1pm. The boat returns for 3pm.

Manor House at Hemingford Grey

Wednesday 26 May

A tour of the beautiful house of LM Boston, author of The Children Of Green Knowe, and its four-acre garden, renowned for its display of over 200 old roses and prize-winning collection of irises.

Tickets are £10 from the Corn Exchange Box Office. Meet the coach at 1pm on Peas Hill. The coach leaves Hemingford Grey at 4pm. For more information visit the Manor House website.

Archive shows at the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse

  • Wednesday 17 March: King Coal – A Century of Coal Mining on Film
  • Wednesday 21 April: Bombs At Teatime

Tickets cost £4.60 or £3.60 for senior citizens and include a free tea or coffee with each ticket. Tickets are available one week before each screening from the Arts Picturehouse Box Office. All films begin at 1pm.
