Green Key project launch
Free event on Saturday 25 February, 11am–4pm at Meadows Community Centre
Launch of a new project to help households in the North Area of Cambridge* live well for less. (*Covering the wards of Arbury, King's Hedges, East and West Chesterton).
The Green Key is about sustainable lifestyles - making the most of resources like water, money, food and energy so they are not wasted. Throughout the day you can talk to local experts about shrinking your gas and electricity bills, growing your own food, cooking with leftovers, reducing water use, make-do-and-mend skills, etc.
There are also things to do and have a go at, like make a ladybird hotel; enjoy a bike-powered smoothie; meet your local Recycling Champions and build a bird nest box.
FREE goodie-bag to the first 100 households to sign up to take part in the project, either on the day or via the contact details below.
