We aim to involve and support the local community in Cambridge's efforts to address environmental issues. As a means to achieving this, our Sustainable City Project Grants are available to Cambridge-based groups and organisations whose work supports our environmental objectives and involves and brings benefits to the residents of Cambridge.

Eligible groups include community groups, residents associations, environmental and not-for-profit organisations and charities.
We are not able to support individuals, or organisations connected with any political party or involved in party politics, or that operate for private or commercial gain.
Grants are intended for projects that involve the community and are not available to individual householders or organisations to make environmental improvements to houses.
Small energy saving improvement grants and discounts are available to eligible householders wishing to make their home more energy efficient through energy suppliers and other grant providers. For more information please visit our Grants and Incentives page.
