Covering the whole of Cambridge, there is at least one city ranger working in your part of the city.
It's our job to provide a street-level, face-to-face contact point for you to raise any cleanliness and public safety issues you might have concerning your neighbourhood.
We liaise closely with all council departments to help make our city a cleaner and safer environment for living and working.
What we do

- small-scale graffiti
- small-scale fly-tipping
- illegal advertising including banners, estate agent board and flyposters
- abandoned bicycles
- abandoned shopping trolleys
- work with the enforcement team to deal with untaxed and abandoned vehicles
- work with the dog warden to educate residents about dog fouling
- work with the streets and open spaces team to respond to reports of large-scale graffiti, large-scale fly-tipping and discarded needles
- community engagement
- waste education including:
