We provide free kitchen caddies to Cambridge residents for collecting food waste in your kitchen to put in your green bin.
They can be collected from the following council receptions:
- Customer Service Centre
- North area housing office
- South area housing office
- Mill Road depot
- The Guildhall
Caddy liners
Paper bags that fit inside the caddies to wrap food waste can be bought at cost price at all receptions except the Guildhall. Please note that we only supply liners to Cambridge City residents, and you may be asked for proof of your address.
A pack of 50 costs £2.50 if you collect them, or £5.50 if you would like them posted to you.

Our caddy size is 5 litres and the paper liners, provided at council locations, are 8 litres.
Paper liners can also be bought at some supermarkets and also online from other suppliers.
