Your black box will be collected every fortnight, on the same day as your black bin.
It is high enough to stand a wine bottle in upright. The base area will fit a broadsheet newspaper folded in half.
Please include:
- paper
- newspapers
- magazines
- junk mail
- white paper and white envelopes
- glass
- clean glass bottles and jars - all colours
- clean food and drink cans - squashed if possible
- empty aerosol cans - not squashed
- biscuit and sweet tins
- clean foil and foiled containers, eg from pies or takeaways
Please don't include:
- broken glass
- window glass or Pyrex
- cardboard
- egg boxes
- telephone directories
- milk and juice cartons
- plastics
- carrier bags
- paint cans
- motor oil containers
- hypodermic needles
- brown envelopes
- brown paper
- crisp packets
- plastic 'foil' pouches, eg from pet food
