Cambridgeshire Together is a county-wide partnership setting out a vision and priorities to deliver improvements in quality of life across Cambridgeshire.
Partnerships at a county and local level are aligned to this vision and are looking to meet targets for improvement contained in a Local Area Agreement for Cambridgeshire.
Cambridgeshire Together is responsible for the delivery of the Local Area Agreement through its six strategic partnerships:
- Cambridgeshire Horizons
- Greater Cambridge Partnership
- Environmental Sustainability Partnership
- Cambridgeshire Children's Trust
- Community Wellbeing Partnership
- Safer and Stronger Strategic Board
You can find out more about Cambridgeshire Together on the county council website, including agendas and minutes from meetings.
Cambridgeshire Together has agreed to develop a new model of partnership working for Cambridgeshire and has asked Cambridgeshire's Public Services Board to present proposals in September 2010 to streamline the number of partnerships and meetings presently in place.
The Public Service Board is also developing the Making Cambridgeshire Count project, which is exploring new ways of working to improve services and offer better value for money.
The Vision for Cambridgeshire took into account the priorities contained in each of the district councils' sustainable community strategies.
