The Children's Trust Board champions the interests of children and young people in Cambridgeshire. Some of its key activities include:
- Developing joint commissioning and planning
- Information sharing
- Implementation of the common assessment framework
- Embedding the "multi-agency" approach in children's centres
- Developing a child poverty reduction strategy
The Children's Trust Board sets the strategy for the Children's Trust in Cambridgeshire and is both challenged and supported by the Local Safeguarding Children Board, the Youth Assembly and Parents and Carers Forum.
