Mayoral engagements

Find out what the mayor and deputy mayor are doing this week

Diary

The mayor of Cambridge carries out approximately 500 social engagements every year.

These include opening ceremonies, religious festivals, sporting fixtures, concerts, fundraising and promotional events and more.

The mayor also traditionally reads a lesson at the King's College Chapel Christmas Eve service.

This page lists upcoming events for the mayor, Councillor Russ McPherson, and the deputy mayor, Councillor Sheila Stuart.

If you are organising an event in the city and would like to invite the mayor, please email Sue Edwards at sue.edwards@cambridge.gov.uk or write to the mayor's office at the Guildhall, Cambridge CB2 3QJ.

Please be aware that the mayor's diary is planned well ahead, so it is wise to give as much notice of your event as possible.
