We are involved with or responsible for bus shelters, support of bus services, new cycleways, off-street parking, and new developments and urban expansions.
As the highway authority, the county council has primary responsibility for many aspects of transport, including local bus services, roads and traffic management.
City councillors sit on a number of committees looking at transport issues.
