Access to the building
There are three entrances to the Guildhall. From the front entrance on Market Square there are four steps up to the ground floor. The door can be opened by pressing a button. The main reception is straight ahead.
The side entrance from Peas Hill has a level entrance with two sets of doors. The first door is fully automatic and the second can be opened by pushing a button. The reception can be reached by turning left and walking down the main corridor.
There is also a lift by this entrance should you need to access another floor of the building.
The side entrance from Guildhall Street has automatic doors opening to five steps that lead to the ground floor.
Direction signs indicating the main public access routes within the Guildhall are printed in Braille and tactile lettering.
Parking
The Grand Arcade car park is the nearest car park to the Guildhall.
There are also four Blue Badge parking spaces in Peas Hill and two in Guildhall Street. Anyone with a Blue Badge can park in pay and display, residents' spaces or disabled spaces free of charge.
