The Community Wing opened on this site in 1981 when, up until September 2006, it was known as St Andrews C of E Community Junior School. Cambridge City Council set up an agreement with the County Council to provide community facilities primarily for local people. There is a range of spaces for meetings, activities, sports and socials.

Meeting Room
The centre has a large comfortable lounge area, 2 meeting rooms, and kitchen facilities. Out of school hours there is the additional use of the hall, football pitch and a multi sports games area.
Kitchen Facilities
There is a large kitchen with a fridge, small cooker and serving hatches into the lounge and meeting rooms.
Regular Activities
There is a programme of regular activities at the centre including a playgroup, toddler group, sports, fi tness and hobby clubs, and activities for older people.

- Free Internet access point, which is available for use - please book in advance
- The centre is available for conferences, parties, one-off bookings and there is a special rate for children’s parties
