The centre has been open since 1990 and has recently undergone a major refurbishment. The new facilities include improved meeting rooms, new kitchen and improved access for people with a disability.

Meeting Rooms
There are 2 main meeting rooms, a counselling / one-to-one room, a hall and foyer area. The centre also has a garden for outdoor activities.
Kitchen Facilities
There is a large oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and serving hatch.
Regular Activities
Buchan Street Neighbourhood Centre is home to the King’s Hedges Healthy Living project and runs a number of projects for the local community including exercise classes, activities for older people, and for families with young children. A soft play project called ‘Tiny Tots Explorers’ also runs from the centre on Fridays.
Other Information
- The centre is available for conferences and parties catering for approx 100 people and for a range of children’s parties including soft play parties
- The centre also has a free Internet access point for use - please book in advance
