Brown’s Field Youth and Community Centre opened to the public in 2005 following a campaign by the local community for better facilities in the area.
The multifunctional centre, which cost £1.2 million, has already developed a range of activities and programmes in conjunction with the local community for families, children, young and older people.

Meeting Rooms
The centre has a large main foyer area, hall with sprung floor, a learning / meeting room, one-to-one room, family room and youth wing. There is an outdoor space and garden area at the back of the centre.
Kitchen Facilities
There is a kitchen off the main foyer area with cooker, fridge and microwave, and small kitchens within the youth wing and family room areas. Catering for hirers is not provided.
Regular Activities
The centre has an established programme of activities for children and young people, families with young children, and older people. Holiday provision for children and young people is also provided.
