The Community Wing opened on this site in 1988 when Cambridge City Council set up an agreement with the County Council to provide community facilities primarily for local people. There is a range of spaces for meetings, activities, sports and socials.

Meeting Rooms
The centre has a large comfortable lounge area, with 3 meeting rooms, and kitchen facilities. Out of school hours there is the additional use of 2 halls, a netball court and a football pitch.
Kitchen Facilities
There is a kitchen with a cooker, microwave and fridge. It has serving hatches into the lounge and the large meeting room.
Regular Activities
There is a programme of regular activities at the centre including sports, fitness and hobby clubs, and activities for older people.
Other Information
- The centre is available for conferences, parties, and one-off bookings
- There is a special rate for children's parties
