Lil Speed Award for voluntary service to the community
2011 winner Rosemary Tice
The annual Lil Speed Award is presented to someone in Chesterton who has made a significant contribution to the community and deserves to be recognised for their voluntary service. The winner of the the 2011 Lil Speed award was Rosemary Tice.

Chesterton Festival 2012
Last year's Chesterton Festival attracted over 2,000 people and local groups raised nearly £3,000 at the main event.
It was supported by Cambridge City Council, Granta Housing Society, 100 Houses Society, White House Arts and LJ's entertainments. Thanks also to the various local businesses who provided raffle prizes.
The dates have been set for the 2012 festival: Friday 29 June–Sunday 1 July.

Holiday provision
Holiday activities for families, children and young people are provided during each half term and the Easter and summer holidays. Programmes are available from the centre approximately two weeks before each holiday period and are also distributed through local schools.

Film club
We run a film club every Saturday, 11am–1pm, for 7–17-year-olds.
Booking is not necessary and there are no costs to pay. Just come along, bring a friend, and enjoy the chance to make your own film.
