Cambridgeshire Celebrates Age promotes the well-being and improve the quality of life of older people. It does this by:

  • promoting active living to keep fit and healthy
  • reducing social isolation, trying to reach those most vulnerable
  • promoting intergenerational work between older and younger people
  • challenging age discrimination
  • showing and valuing what older people do and achieve.

Nearly 200 events took place around the county last year to mark International Day of Older People. For more information download the 2010 evaluation report.

The 2011 evaluation report will be made available in 2012.
