As well as tendering opportunities from other regional authorities, the county council's website also includes invitations to tender from the Espo (Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation), a local authority purchasing and distribution consortium, formed in early 1981 by the county councils of Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
Espo also runs the services Dealing Direct and Espoenergy.
