For tenderers, as part of the pre qualification questionnaire (PQQ), we will ideally require membership of the national contractor health and safety assessment scheme (CHAS, established by local authorities with the support of the Health and Safety Executive).
Where appropriate, we will also require your membership of Constructionline.
If you are not a member of CHAS, you will be asked to complete their form, covering health and safety issues relevant to the type of work you are tendering for. This will cover:
- your health and safety policy(s)
- health and safety procedures
- your risk assesment(s)
- method statements
- any other documentation relevant to the work tendered for
