If you live in a property where the only resident is under 18, or all the residents are under 18, your residence is exempt
from Council Tax. (Class S)
If you are a paid apprentice, training for an NVQ, or you are unpaid on a youth
training programme, you can get a Council Tax discount.
Youth training: you need to be under the
age of 25, and on a government recognised Youth Training programme.
Apprentices: the salary paid to an apprentice
must be no greater than £195 per week and must be less than what they would earn once qualified.
We will need proof
of your training course, eg certification of studies, and proof of income for apprentices.
