If your circumstances change

You must notify the council if your circumstances change in a way that could affect how much Council Tax you have to pay.

  • someone may move in or out of your home, affecting whether or not you get a single person discount
  • a student may finish their studies and get a job
  • you may move house or carry out improvements to your home

Tell us about any change in your circumstances.
