Area committees make local decisions about local issues, including some planning applications. All meetings are open to the public. Come along - they're your chance to:
- Find out what's happening in your area
- Have your say on decisions made on local issues
They're attended by the councillors for the local wards; and other representatives are invited to come to meetings on specific issues.
How to have your say at an Area committee meeting
- Open forum: anyone can ask a question during this 30 minute session
- Formal agenda: a list of items will be talked about and you can ask any questions
- Planning applications: contact us in advance for more information on how you can participate in this part of the meeting
Area committees are split into North, South, East and West/Central. Click on the map to find out more about your local area committee, and when it's next meeting.
